If they're your signifigant other of course it's partly your decision. Getting married or deciding to be in a committed serious relationship is kind of like giving partial ownership of yourself to the other person. It's an agreement, a partnership.

Forgetting 1 night is just a matter of will power and a simple choice to forget it. Between 1 - 10 million is not so easy to forget about, lasts a lifetime as opposed to 1 night (unless you spend it like an idiot) and it guarantees that you and your partner can have a lot more quality time together and removes any financial problems from your life, which I might add is the number 1 cause for divorce.

In fantasy land, yes. But it would need to be north of 1 million to even consider it. In reality, it is just not worth it. Way too much trouble. It would create a myriad of problems and fights and probably eventually somehow lead to the end of the relationship.

Try this test. Ask your wife, "would you ever sleep with an average looking, clean, undiseased, run of the mill guy, using a rubber, for a good deal of money" and she says, "No way, but I might consider it if I could get enough to redo the basement, get a new car, get a new house [or some other possession]". You are screwed, start making plans for the divorce that will be coming.

I just don't get that point of view, FamilyGuy. Unless you're not a real man and you're the jealous weirdo possessive type what's the big deal? Most chicks fucked guys before you. It's just 1 night. If you'r gonna allow that to cause fights in the future that's your own weakness and lack of self control coming through.

It also shows a lot of insecurity. See for me I know there's no guy that could ever take my wife from me. It just couldn't happen so that's not even a thought that crosses my mind ever. For me to acknowledge that possibility I'd first have to acknowledge that there's someone out there better than me and that's just not in me. That sounds cocky but I call it confident. 1 night in exchange for a lifetime of no worries with my wife at my side is sure as hell not something I'm gonna pick fights about in the future.

I get your point, but I think you misunderstood mine. I am not hung up about her being with someone else and then falling for him because he was so good in the sack. I think the fighting would be more about the circumstances and money more than the sex. Look, if someone thinks they can fuck my wife better than I, God bless 'em. Good luck with that. Ain't happening. That is not my point. I don't fear that a bit.

Call me crazy, but I just think that if you did this hypothetical act, that your wife just might one day start to think that you must not love her very much if you agreed to pimp her out for what amounts to a month supply of beer and Cheetos, instead of finding another way to get that cash. Then perhaps she starts thinking that she should be with someone that can take care of her financially (most chicks definitely consider that a big factor - see money and divorce comment earlier) and "really" loves her and doesn't have to pimp her out to pay off their bills. She may love the hell out of you, and you may be able to lick your own eyebrows, but she might also settle for "ok" sex with a different guy if she finds someone else that can provide her long term financial security. I would refer you to look at every older rich guy with a hot young broad. That happens a lot. I doubt those old dudes are giving those girls the best sex they ever had in their lives. Just sayin'.
