I live in South Australia and love living here. Moved from the Uk 9 years ago.Great people who are friendly and helpful.Food ,wine and beer is great to.Live 5 mins from the beach as well.

I was told by an Australian not to worry about the sharks because the salt water crocodiles eat them!

actually, the real issue is those pesky kiwis that were introduced to our shores....we can never seem to get rid of them!!....cant blame them though I guess
sharks and crocodiles arent you real problem in the water, the stonefishs venom is painfully lethal, you die from the agony, then theres the box jellyfish, blue ringed octopus, the countless snakes even the bloody honey bee is dangerous
although I wouldnt call Australia 'paradise' and it has its faults....mainly our politicians, but I would not live anywhere else
