SUCCESS!!!! I batted around the idea of majoring in English (I've always wanted to teach, really), but instead chose Music Ed. Unwise decision... the English teachers definitely have a better chance of getting a job than the music ones.

What's your novel about?

Hmm, if it makes money like I hope it will, maybe everyone here will know who it came from. Anyway, it's about what happens in 100 years or so when the earth gets overpopulated because the cure for aging has been found. Overpopulation is a global problem because people are taking drugs to live forever and aren't dying. Pretty soon it becomes illegal to become pregnant without a permit. The heroine of the novel gets raped, becomes pregnant, and revolts when her only choice is to have a government mandated abortion or be prosecuted.

That's it in a nutshell. Big Pharma corruption and corporate greed play a major role in the dynamics. Money is universal. Government is not.
