wich car should i get? 80 FIREBIRD VS 67 MUSTANG

I really love this two cars, and both kinds have been offered to me. I always wanted the firebird but since i saw the 67 it just gave me a temptation. I have seller of both cars waiting so see wich i am gona buy. But i can't make up my mind. wich ones should i get.. any tips. commentaries?

Although I really think much of what pontiac has sold over the years is pure crap, you gotta go with the firebird...

Assuming three things...

1. It has the gold honeycomb rims.
2. It has a T-roof
3. It has the big firebird decal on the hood...

You can blast Journey and other 80's hairbands from the stereo as you cruise...

Just like Adam Sandler in Billy Madison when he pulled up to school...

I would really need to know what engines these cars have to make my decision. I am a little biased though already. I don't really care for mustangs.

what motors do each have?

and you pictured a trans am...which technically is a bit different than the regular firebird, with handling and performance upgrades...including the shaker hood....

ive had much fun in the 79/80 trans am.....listening to the wind get sucked over the windshield when you mash the pedal to the floor is awesome! plus with some cherry bomb mufflers ...or whatever is the cool thing these days, it sounds SOOOOO sweet...

mustang looks cool....but obviously its older and bound to have more problems unless its been restored or something...

and of course the TA was built when the pollution shit was forced onto cars and REALLY robbed power....because they didnt know how to make a car run with power and be efficient at the same time yet....

so, if i bought that first thing i would do is tear all that smog shit out!!

I'm in full agreement with you ETV! Mustang would probably be cheaper to mod being it doesn't need any emissions bullshit! It doesn't even need seatbelts!

i actually know my fair share about cars....built a motor myself one time (it was 3.0 GM v-6 that threw a rod....it threw a rod after i rebuilt it too!)

You got to go with the Trans, if nothing else because of the awsome bird on the front. Plus the later model will handle a lot better and you can always rip out the smog motor and toss a crate engine in.

can't get a 6.6L V8 400 big block in a '68 Z28, you can get it in an 80 firebird though!

and naming your dream car doesn't help out this guy at all with his decision!
