Which nation produces best cars?

sports car? mmm Italy? maybe I mean theres the lambo and the ferrari and even the fiat for low end sports car.

but Germany overall for sure.

Porsche - kik ass sports cars
Mercedes - great mechanical engineering

Owned by and where they are built are 2 different things.

i really love the comfort of modern cars, but i hate all that technology. you can´t repair anything by yoursekf and every small failure costs hundreds of EURO

Some of their cars (i.e. Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi) are also doable

not many americans have answered this thred hmmm just a coincidence
anyways I choose italy

germans make reliable, robust cars, as do sweden!
britain make affordable semi reliable cars and the odd fancy brand too
italians make overpriced garbage
and french make cheap reliable cars!

oh and japs make quality mid priced cars!

the best engineers come from germany (think so) and they make the best cars.

This is kinda tough, it really depends on what kind of car, but haven driven some really expensive vehicles in my old job heres what i learnt. (just my opinion of what i drove)
I wouldnt give you the time of day for any mercedes or any of the german so called suv's.
M series bmw nice, the newer bmws with the push button starter (took me w hile the first time to figure that out) i liked. Aston martin was fun. But some way less expensive cars were just as nice to drive or better.

America.

I've always been a fan of the deLorean. So... whatever makes that.

All the Axis powers make KICK-ASS cars, Germany, Italy and Japan

Toyota makes great mid-sized family cars.
Chrysler and Dogde cars are getting better
( funny how they look eropean now too)
Caddies of all sizes are good.
The Ferrari's, Porche's, Lamborgini's, etc are great, but
with American speed limits you can never really open one
all the way up. A guy I saw this morning has the new Lotus Elise,
great car, but he has never gotten it over 90 without getting a ticket.
