i think you'll find it was manufactured by the Chrysler Corporation and mitsubishi had a joint venture with them. The cars are built by Diamond Star Motors in Illinois. The only thing from what i have heard mitsu had to do with it is the engine. Its the same engine thats in the evo's.

Hey, no one said that every American car is great. But, have you ever driven a late model mustang or camaro? Look at the skid pad numbers and you'll find that when it comes to road holding the camaro and the mustang both "shit" on your focus, to use your term. I won't even mention the straight line acceleration. Why do you think that your opinion=fact? Post some numbers from a credible source. Show me how your focus shits on mustangs. I could tell you my uncle's yugo shits on your grandpas M3, it doesn't make it so!

Btw, the eagle talon, although produced in the USA, is a Japanese design, like your focus, which is produced in Europe, and came from an American car company. You ever notice that little blue oval on the front of your focus??? hmm? BTW, I don't know of any focus produced that I would rather have than an Eagle Talon TSI AWD. The Focus while funded by Ford is a british built and designed car. Which has been exported out to north america and canada. The Talon is an american car built in america with a japanese engine. And a SVT focus? Kak mate, you dont get the good ones there, try the RS version and the new ST.

I would seriously love to see an american who's never seen a winding country road to come here and lug there big wide boat like camaro's around em. That'd be funny.

Coz ya comment about not doing our homework is just bollocks aswell, youve obviously never seen a mountain road in italy or a british country road etc because to say our roads are not much different to yours is nosense, so maybe ya need to do a little background work yaself first before calling us asses no?

There are huge amount of skyline's in the states. Maybe you haven't seen one then. It really is superb. You can get ~600bhp from the stock turbos quite easy. I know one R33 in my hometown which has 600bhp from the stock turbos, just a little optimization.

I have too agree with you on that one Ascaris , they have heaps of GTR's in the southern hemisphere becoz we get all the japanese versions and the GTR series of skyline need very few mods to be able to crank out such high numbers thats the main reason i'm sticking up for japanese cars. Bang for buck , you cant beat that !

Lucky you, because of Finland laws, we're not able to have R34's here. The car has something which doesn't apply with our laws and it's illegal here. Only R32's and R33's are allowed. Too bad, I'm sure few guys would have 34's already.
