EDIT- wow, i confused myself there... to make it simple, it's a GSR.

It's equivaliant to the JDM GSR, which would be a base IX W/SSL, sun/sound/leather - power windows/locks.
USA has only 3 versions, RS = Base model, no power windows or locks. 5spd
IX = W/SSL, or W/0 SSL. 5spd
MR = has 6spd power everything but no sunroof.

This is my daily driver so I chose the sunroof.

and of course, all trims of the evo share the exact same 4G63.

Nice choice man , if i had the money id buy one myself ...... im absolutely addicted to Evo's . 2 of my mates own them aswell , 1 has a 1998 Evo 5 GSR with about 10 grands worth of mods and the other has a 2000 Evo 6.5 the Tommi Makinen Edition (such a sick fuckin car) ..... from factory standard @ 270hp it would clean up 350-400 horse power 2005-2006 V8's no problem , now he has about 10 grands worth of mods aswell and i dont know anything on the streets apart from a supercar that can touch it. Im hoping to purchase an Evo 2 myself next year aswell.

In the southern hemisphere we get the japanese versions of the Evo9 , GSR and the GT . The GSR is basically the one with all the creature comforts and the GT is the race ready version. SUCH A FUCKIN SICK CAR MAN ....... im jeleous as hell !!!!

I think that has to be the stereotypical answer from your average American, the only American cars i like are the old school ones like Shelby Cobra , Mustang GT fastback , 63 Corvette stingray ..... and thats about all ..... Ya statement about only people to know how to make cars are europeans is kak mate. The new Z06 'vette is on a par with most of the euro sports cars... Jap cars like scooby impreza's, evo's, s2000's etc are also awesome motors... Not least forgetting Pagani. Great cars are made all over the world, its simple. Although i do agree, most american cars are useless around proper roads.

Oh and one last point... any lambo??? The only 2 decent handling lambo's according to test drivers and reviews are the new gallardo spyder and the diablo VT. Lambo's like the countach, muira, and to some extents the Murcielago are shit.
