Systems?

Anyone have one? I'm new and I just figured if I would see if I could start something.. here's some old pictures of mine. I'll take some new ones tomorrow since I have somewhere to post them now..

4 MTX T9510-04 Superwoofers, 2 Audiobahn DUB-2801 series amplifiers, 2/0awg Bose wiring, 2 3.0 farad high output Power Acoustik capacitors, Alpine CDA-9857 head unit, Opitma yellow top battery. Like I said, I'll get new pictures with the newer things (head unit, capacitor, etc) tomorrow.

Do you really need that much bass? I've got one ten in my trunk and that gives more than enough. Most of the time I have to turn the bass down my cd player.

Well no, I don't need it..I do competitions though, so it's helps a lot with extra income. You'd be surprised how much an extra 500-1000 dollars can help from time to time.

he got a 3000watt amplifier if i remember correctly, the speakers themself i cant remember..
this was the 2004 dream team promotion car, a volvo 740tic, 200bhp

i got 2 12's in a sealed box running off 190w-rms (not peak) Zapco amp bridged, a Pioneer head unit-60 watts a channel 5.25 with "1 tweeter components up front (FUSION) and 3-way 6X9's in the back dash (ALSO FUSION) subs are VISONIK (cheap but pound hard)

i have 2 12" boschmann, and 2 12" infinty subs, and one 8 inch. Amplified by an infinity ra-6006 (twice) also marcom 3 way 8 inch compo in the front. and a not so high end JVC HU :P. Connections are dietz.

I do some times join those audiocomps, but my system is bit to soft, it sounds really good though!

I run just a Boxed inifity 12", with an alpine v12 amp. Purely to enhance the music.
Im too old to be showing off volume etc etc!
But it does me well and sounds fucking ace!

I have 2 12" Alpine type-E Subs in the trunk powered by a 750watt Alpine Amp.. JVC deck up front.

you guys have nice sounding systems.
i used to work at a stereo shop and the installer had a pro SPL car.
that thing was NUTS, it had 4 15' MTX PRO woofers, and 15 MTX amps (modified to put out 1800 watts-rms)
1 inch thick plexiglass windows, cement/insulation filled doors. the car hit just over 151 db.
freakin sweet...until the one of woofers caught fire. :x
my boss was sponsored by kicker, he had 4 solobaric L7 12's, 2 of their biggest mono amps, mb quartz components all the way around and a kicker amp to power them. his truck (2004 chevy silverado) hit just under 145 db. stupidly loud vehicles.

HELP hi in a corsa iv got a shark520w amp powering 2 sony explod 6x9s and a kenwood 12" sub sounds ace everything fine untill i changed my phono cable ran up seperate side from power its a shielded cable but now get a loud buzzing through the 6x9s amp has a good earth same as with the old cable help what can i do

And you.. you have a bad ground somewhere.

bad ground, or your possibly in need of a line filter.
