Superbikes whats fast?

what is speed?

The first bike i ever road was a 1984 honda magna v45 750 now im looking for a new liter bike but not sure wich brand looking at kawasaki's ZX-10R but any input would help.

Maybe you should stop that double posting in threads and edit your original post. I've seen this many times now.

And I haven't tried any big bike in my life. I want though.

Ninja ZX10R is an absolutely mental bike, and can be scary if you haven't read something that fast.

05/06 Suzuki GSXR 1000 is one of the most incredible super bikes out at the moment. It is so fast, but easier to ride than the ZX10R as its power delivery is much smoother.

Yamaha's R1 is still a very accomplished ride, and reshaped the superbike with its light weight, responsive throttle, and agile handling that everyone now tries to copy.

Fireblade is always a possibility, but they can be a bit wooly when compared to the lean, mean competitors, but is quick by any standards, and more comfortable over a large distance.


Of course if money is no object, there is always the Ducati 999S/R or the MV Agusta F4 1000... Various iterations of the above are awesomely fast and beautiful. MV Agusta is my preference, as their bike is pure metal porn, and the whole bike exudes aggressiveness.

My best bet is to buy a few superbike mags (I don't know what you get in the US), and start reading what they have to say about the different bikes. Don't take just one opinion as some are biased to one brand or another.

if you want unadulterated speed and power get a Hayabusa or a CBR1100-XX

Although not a sport bike, Honda's VTX-1800 is bad to the bone. A completely different breed than any other V-Twin I've ridden.

Crack the throttle on this one, and enjoy the ride. There is so much power and torque. The torque is amazing... makes you feel like you are drag racing in a 396 chevelle or something.

btw it is more bike than most can handle
so is the Yamaha R1 1000cc and higher

gsxr 1000 is nothing like a busa.....day and night dude

maybe, but the chasis are day and night. The bikes ride totally different.

either way, gsxr 1000 is a sick bike. I simply ride a zx-636 and thats a fun bike for me. I rode a 05 gsxr1000 last year and it blew my mind.

i agree..a little, the busa is more made for the track.....while the gsxr is mostly the same bike but a few small differences made for public rodes
