i may have to take a look at Seats. Ive always loved the Cupra's. Gotta take a gander at the new Civic too. They look stunning.

The new civic isn't that special what I've heard. The engine isn't powerful enough, it lacks some good torque in different situations. The steering is unsharp, the car keeps waving on side to another etc. Our car analysts said it's OK, but nothing spectacular.

Too much hype because it's a honda. Raw and bloody fact.

Well i cant disagree, coz ive not driven or seen one upclose yet. But i want to. If im gonna change me RS, i want to explore all areas

The Golf GTi is another option, or the Megane Sport.

And speaking with own experience, the rear-blinkers of civic, god damn those are small! You can't see if the car is turning, especially in the daylight. The futuristic design has took too much place. I almost hit the fucking honda, because I couldn't see the blinker in traffic. And the modern exhaust-pipes on the back are fucking severe, looks brutal with the small pipes coming out of the big frame.

@watty - don't buy a french car, those are full of problems. The top 3 cars in finnish road-flaws are renault, peugeot and citroen. Great quality. *thumbs up*

Gof GTi looks good indeed, with the V6 it's a great experience.

The only reason i suggested the Megane was because iw was watching a re-run of Top Gear last night that had the Astra VXR against the Megane Sport. Clarkson reckoned the Megane was better.

Mind you, not sure why im listening to what he says, he thinks the new M5 is ugly. Is he blind?

I really don't believe Clarkson, guy has too much own opinions when reviewing the cars. Megane over Astra, hardly!

And the new M5 is very neat looking car, looks much better than the regular 5-series. I saw the new M5 pushing the pedal once, god damn the noice of that car! It was something so cool, and it was our city center. the speed limit is 40km/h and he was pushing something like 80km/h. Nice one mate.

well im guna be in rarity and say evo, dunno why i have always prefered them over a rex, both cars have pretty much teh same specs but yeah Evo all the way.

Surprised no one has mentioned the BMW 130i pure rear wheel drive fun 268bhp, a little more expensive but a great drive!

true enough, but I would rather have the performance looks are secondary for a car for me!

Oh i dunno, i think looks are important, not THE most important, but there has to be some attraction there for me to buy it.

Here one you may not of thought of the new Octavia voted hot hatch of the year, I took one on a test and was surprised at how much I didn't hate it

Well they are essentially a VW now. I have driven an Octavia, not bad motors at all. But i dunno, there's still that thing about owning a skoda, no matter how good they are.

Don't be prejudiced twat, the Octavia has only had great reviews since it's introduction.
Granted, there's something about owning a Skoda, but don't let it get in the way of a great purchase. Just do it, take a test drive

And if the basic Octavia is a good car, the RS is bigger, better and uncut in every way

The Skoda is definitely the sensible performance car which is why its What Cars car of the year! but its not really fast or fun!

Alfa romeo 159 GTA, v8, 440 BHP, 680 nm. Still a prototype though, but I love it.

thats because it's really a golf gti in a skoda shell......

the brera is one of the most beautiful cars i have ever seen.

id only be looking at the 147 GTA is anything, the others would be well above my price range.
