It is almost time for my NASCAR race to start. Today they are running on the road course in California. Personaly I hate road courses, and dont think a 3400 pound stock car belongs on a road course.
Anyone?

i like watching car racing (usally F1).

i have seen one nascar race in australia on a road course.(6 or 7 years ago) They all went mad and crash into everthing. those car must have not brakes or somethink.

similar car racing in australia is v8supercars, they are pretty cool races, lots of crashes and some of the races go for 1000km (7 or 8 hours).

I'm not really a fan of NASCAR, but I've watched a few races here and there. I don't really like the road courses either. I'd like to see more races at Bristol.

I think i saw the qualifier for the race you're talking about Hornyone. Were they at Buttonwillow? They did alot of tuning during the practice runs! Turn 11 seemed to be pretty killer on the Nascar fellas. I remember seeing the brake/throttle "meter" on the corner of the screen, and turn 11 was causing some major braking!
The commentators kept going on about how different the race was going to be b/c the cars are so accustomed to only making left turns. How was the race? I missed it.

I thought NASCAR rigs could only go in one direction? (IE only turn left) something to do with the inner safety tyres?
