i do it daily if u can tell me what car i can tell u everything ur gonna need to install it... i would be the professional who would install them..
I think they wont install on a standard car..unless its a shady place. Wish I could help.
I can help actually -
get a gf -
hand her her coat
and say
ummm go start the car - :go back to sipping hot cocoa with baileys in your pajamas:
ok now manuel or auto tranny?
Don't install it yourself, it rarely works good. my friend did it to his truck himself, and if it got hot inside or you werent right next to it it didnt work. I went to Ziebart and had it done on my GTP for 300 bucks and it works from 1800 feet and has a upgraded alarm.
I would have to agree with clarkkent in that it would be better to pay some one to do it if you do not understand the workings of a automobile eletric system.
so this 60 dollar electric start is going to end up costing 300 to install? For that much I just might return it
I have it installed on my standard tranny car. For me to install an alarm, smart windows module and the remote start my total came to 300.
Depending on the model remote start module you have it should only be a few wires. If you already have an aftermarket alarm the cost shouldn't be too much. Is it made by DEI? Or is it the stand alone type of Remote start with its own remotes included?
Since you have an auto trans car, and remote start modules have become fairly popular most reputable car audio/alarm specialty stores should be able to do the job.
