I want to paint my 4X4 camo. I'm going to use an army green base with brown and black spots. How can I get the colors to blend clean around the edges. I thought about air brushing it but that would take forever. Any help would be appricated.

paint the whole car army green. then paint the hood black. and it's finished.

It's an 1985 Dodge Power Ram. It's just a bush truck for hunting and 4X4ing so I don't need a professional paint job. I think that sweglems idea is the way to go. Thanks for the advice.

if your going to paint it camo u obviously have high standards and expect the best. give me a fucking break, its just camo man do it your self the worst that could happen is that it might look like a bush

I don't expect the best. I just wanted the colors to blend around the edges. If I wanted the best I would take it to a paint shop

If it's a 1985 there is little risk. Just go for it. You'll make mistakes but learn. You can always paint over it if its doesn't look good.

Paint the base and let it dry completely. Then take each individual other color and just go for it in the pattern you choose, don't try to be to neat and then the overspray will give you the blended edge look that you are wanting. Have at least an idea of the pattern you want before you start and things will be easier. It worked for me on my Chevy Blazer, it should work for you.
