New toy any suggestions?

Hey guys I just got a 98 ford explorer limited. I have never owned a suv. Any ideas on what customizations can be done?

i guess it depends on how ghetto you want to be. you can pretty much customize anything these days.

Well you have three choices, 1. Leave it stock, 2. go high, 3. go low but all this would depend on how you are going to be using it, whether it is 4WD, and your personal preference.

Personally I would go high with it (if it's a 4WD), add a slight lift, put some mud tires or all terrain on it and maybe add a winch. Either that or leave it stock and just add some cosmetics to it (new paint, rims, tint, etc.). Although I have seen some decent looking lowered explorers before, that is if it's done right and not "overdone".

But like I said, it all depends on your preference of how you like your vehicle to look.

Thanks for the help. I want to leave the height alone. does any one know of any common problems they my have. When I got my oil changed the guy started telling me that i need to replace the ball joints. Is this common?

My twin turbos were actually acting kinda wonky today.

I think it may be related to the serpentine problem from a few days ago.
