New car

I've been looking for a new car, and I started off thinking maybe a Nissan 350Z convertible. Then I thought maybe a Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky. Then I kinda scrapped the idea of a convertible. A friend of mine suggested the Infiniti G35, which I have driven, and really like, but then I saw the BMW 335 and I really like that too. Now I can't decide which one to go with. The Infiniti is less money and I think looks a little better, but the BMW is good looking too, and even though costs more, will probably loose less after a 3 yr lease. What do you guys think? Anyone have either of these cars? Any bad stories?

350z is an amazing car , im quite biased towards japanese cars myself being from the southern hemisphere ....... bang for buck you cant go wrong with a jappa. Dont even bother with a Pontiac or a Saturn !!!!!! Infiniti G35 is just a Nissan Skyline with a different badge ( just like the Toyota Alteeza and Lexus IS300 , same car different badge and you get charged more for the Lexus) . Then you have the BMW 335, nothing beats a european car ...... Style , comfort , handling ...... overall they are in a different class to the other cars you are considering. If you have that kinda money to spend , buy the 335 .... it wont depreciate as fast as the others, its better quality of car and i can guarantee if you take it for a test drive you will be sold !!!!!

i agree. Don't buy North American and you'll be okay. Toyotas seem to get better mileage than Nissan, if that's a consideration.

350Z convertible is a kick-ass ride. And so is S2000, which is a rare RWD car from Honda. Awesome technology. The engine has voted many times as the best of all time. And you can get lots of upgrade parts for S2000 also.

I have a 350Z coupe, LOVE IT!! Such an awesome car!! I never regret buyin it. I havent had one problem with it. I highly recommend it. Now if your looking more for luxury, go with the G35. Its the same car, just had a backseat and a sunroof Heres a pic of my Z

I've had an S2000 and they are good but I was a bit disappointed and to have any real fun you need to keep the revs over 7000, which means crap fuel economy....

sorry to those who like the 350Z but I can think of many better cars for the money, and it only has 2 seats.

Nooo, VTEC kicks in at ~6000 rpm, which is the fun factor. F20C has been voted as the best engine and it has lots of other nominations and victories all around the world. And what's best, the engine validates the strict EURO4 norms, and it is really economical engine compared to the power it produces.

i think that the Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky or pretty bad ass looking. But of course you can't go wrong with a BMW.

I own an S2000 and thought about changing for a 350Z, but frankly I enjoy the Honda far too much that I doubt I would get enough extra enjoyment for the extra money I would have to spend - unless I wen totally high-end and bought a new 911, which is a tad out of my budget.

I would test out the S2000 - half the fun is revving it beyond 7000, and fuel economy is no better with a porsche in reality. Besides, you don't buy these cars if you are worried about fuel economy...

BMWs are too mainstream nowadays - eveybody has one but the only one worth goinjg for is one with an M-badge.

Don't touch the North American...not worth the trouble

Buy the Jap Imports if you want to play around and mod (or spend a little more on a pre-moded one)

Buy the BMW if you're looking a nice/reliable/well handing car to drive that you don't have to do anything to.

350z would be a big nono, that car is way too overrated, once u get down to it, its not as good as the other stuff on the market.

G35 coupe, is very good

if u dont want a convertable, which Sky is, then G35 is your best go

as previously stated its on the Skyline platform, which in itself is amazing
and then if u want to "sup it up", what ever tickles your fancy, all you have to do it get a nice set of 19" Rims on it(deep dish) and it already looks bad ass.

so:
if u want to go from 0-100km/h in 3 seconds Sky with SL7 swap
if u like comfort, and still want to look bad ass, then G35 coupe
