It looks like a 1972 Pontiac Formula 400,that someone tried to make look like a Trans-Am,it has a Trans-am hood scoop and brushed stainless steel dashboard from Trans-Am however the rest of the interior isn't a Trans-am.Trans -am's back then only came in one color white with blue stripes. It's definetly missing stuff under the hood for it to be a TA and then again it might be a 71.

I thought thats what it was, the us car makers send their tooling ( sheet metal stamps) out of the country to sell as another model name. So what size engine and how bad is the smog control ?

snarfbatt: We are not sure on the size of the engine as we cant find the stamp on the side of the block. It is at least a 400, maybe even a 426 (is this the standard size for the original block?). The pollution control has been removed so don't tell the hippies ....

The carby is just this bucket with four holes in it. Does anyone know a good upgrade we could put in for the carby. Also what about electronic ignition?
