Just saw these in an e-mail and thought it was pretty cool. No more flat tires. They also look a lot more flexible than regular tires so if you accidentally curb check that should equal a lot less damage to the rim. Just wondering if anybody else knows any more about these things. Supposedly they should be out in the market soon.

I don't know if I'm all that fond of how they look but in Florida there's constantly construction and I've picked up more nails in my tires than I'd like to think about it and so having tires without air is somethin I'm very interested in.

That's a cool looking tire. But, I think it would pack up with dirt/mud where I live.

I use a product called no-flat sealant that goes in before nails and rocks, it works damn good!

Also I ran across this....(just in case you need to get over tire spikes or whatever)

Yeah, I've heard of that fix-a-flat stuff too, but people tell me that it's actually pretty corrosive and not good for the rim/tire or whatever.

The airline tires would be awesome for me, because I suck at seeing at night sometimes, and I've curb-checked one of those stupid ass middle-lane elevated concrete islands once, blowing the tire, and I also hit a big ass pothole thing driving through a construction zone that also blew a tire. So in the last year+ I could have saved a shitton of aggravation with those things

i have seen these before... there is a sidewall, this is just a cut open tire to show how they work if i remember...

I have run flats..which are pretty alright..on well paved roads.

Also, even of they don't have sidewalls, I would never put those on my car because they're fucking hideous...

Cool beans though.

This isn't fix a flat. That stuff is bad and really only works on small nail holes.
This you use it before you have a leak !

How deep is the hole, roughly?

Yeah, it was on a curve that I cut to closely.

It was also on the way home from Thanksgiving dinner at a relative's house, which was just a pain in the ass.

I do that sometimes with those center medians, try to rock super close and make some comment in my jackass head about the apex and I always think I'm cutting that shit way to close.

If I actually hit one I would be balling like a 4 year old girl that dropped her Popsicle.
