who wants to see cars go around in a circle for 3 hours... if you want driving skill, watch some rally racing.
allright with my nick i gotta get in this shit. circle track is where its at. rally racing does take some skill, but you gotta be perfect every lap for three hours. supreme concentration.
nascar is good but i mostly watch it for the crashes coz they are usually huge, but the best motorsport is formula one, then rally
i actually never thought of it that way carracer. I love cars and different types of racing but always got a bit bored nascar, i still watch it but it gets a bit repetitive. Hearing it in the "you've got to be perfect every lap for three hours" makes me see it in a new light. Good times.
nascar, stupid. formula 1, rocken roll. more to see in formula one. Räikkönen rules
Formula One.....the cars sound like little Bumble Bees whining, and the drivers, well, maybe celebrities over there, but appear to me to be pretty-boy spoiled royalty. Besides, they only race a few times a year.
I personally dont like Nascar. Its mad boring. I prefer Le Mans, Rally, F1 racing and stuff like that.

so you can watch 24 hours of Le Mans but NASCAR is mad boring? I love both. NASCAR is cool because of all the rules. F1 is cool because of Technoligy
No, I dont watch 24 hours of it. I just prefer that type of racing. Actual road courses with s turns and stuff like that.
well, there's circuit courses like the Rolex 24 that could be likened to Nascar. Same track, there's left and right turns but its the exact same course for 24 long hours. It's basically just whatever racing floats your boat for whatever reason... But i'd think that most or all racing takes some level of skill or else we'd all be pro.

nascar is boring it has aired on brittish television a few times and its just so boring just going round, i prefere rally, when i was in cypress i saw the world rally championship and some of the mountain courses are hard in a slow moving jeep let alone going 50 mph + through it, thats real skill. going round in a circle should be left to goldfish
Trading paint, thats the way to race.
racing is a sport two year ago nascar had thier driver's heart beats measured and it was found that they raced at a average of a 8 minute mile heart beat for three hours.
Does anyone like the new points system. and you at Talladega in april
The type of racing is not important, just race, the biggest differance is here in America would rather watch guys in cars that look like the one we drove to the track, F1 is way cool but the racers try to keep their noses in the air towards the fans. In nascar fan access is one of the big drawing cards, no where else can fans walk into the garage and watch. Rally is scary cool, but if I had a passenger talking all the time I would find a big hammer and shut him up
snarf dude, if you knock out your co-driver with a hammer in a rally, you'll be in trouble negotiating the rapid turns by yourself and most likely fly off a cliff. that guy is your best friend.
Im sure the co-driver makes just as much money. His job is very important.
I was born and raised in the US and I f'n hate NASCAR. Sorry, but it really seems like a "sport" for rednecks. It's loud as balls and the cars go left four hours and hours and hours...No offense. I guess being a "Yankee" and not growing up in the south contributes to my feelings. I like bangin southern bells however. You can't beat their accents when they say stuff as you do it dog-style to them!!! YEEEEE-HAAAAWWWWWW!!!!!
Well I may have trouble but at least it would be my own, I love nascar for the advanced tech. involved in making a car do 200mph in the straights and go to 100mph in the curves for 500 miles and make it look like a family sedan. I live to close to Indy to like the F1 assholes,(from experiance). you want rough off road racing lets take stock 4x4 trucks to the california desert
