My G8 and her tail...

Hey gents...so I'm the proud owner of a Pontiac G8...and sadly, I got stuck in the snow and my neighbor tried to help and he accidentally broke my tail off. Mad as hell by its hard to be mad when he was trying to help.

So I go to GM to get a price on a new tail...and they want about $700 for three feet of plastic, unpainted and uninstalled. So pissed.

Looking for thoughts on after market parts...scarce for G8...ideas guys? Cheers

maybe try asking on the g8board.com site I always found help with my audi on audi forums... other then that i'd say a junk yard, but thats a crap shoot. good luck! try not to go the the "stealership" haha

i agree.. message boards are a good source of info... plus sometimes they have parts sections with good deals..

car-part.com and partshotlines.com are places you can go to find junkyard parts havent used the latter to much because i just heard of it in the past 2 weeks
