a friend of mine was lucky, his trans exploded on the dyno... everyone who was there is ok... just thaught you car guys might like to see what happens when a trans explodes...

here are some more..

by the way, it was a 302 4 speed car, now it has a big block chevy th 400 combo in it... it is a all motor car...

where was the 'flywheel' explosion plate at? Hope he puts one in next time before he loses a foot or causes injuries

that's why they have only automatic transmission systems on those tuned machines ...

Lucky guy he was not in there

he was getting a h.p. reading on the dyno, the trans just let loose...

DAMN! Everyone's DAMN lucky they didn't get hurt. My brother blew his tranny in my father's garage and his friend got a chunk of metal embedded in his bicep.

yes...it's not his first, but i guess it was a used trans...

here is a pic of the engine, and the back of the car...if you look, you'll see a bowtie in the back window...

So the dyno guy wasn't in the car at the time? Was it on auto-run? Fucking lucky. Not really familiar with that. All my dynoing has been with me or the guy in the cockpit.
