Insurance bull PLOP! stuipd wisconsin

I dont know how many other states have this law but i know wisconsin does! let me tell my story, i was turning left and there was a green arrow and some lady went straight smashing into my truck that i just got! i thought insurance would pay for it all and fix it but guess what?! in wisconsin theres a law saying that no matter what its at least 20% your fault...that 20% would go away if you just didnt go out that day and drive so with $5,000 worth of damage done i have to pay cash i dont have because i just bought it and i have to pay it off still, if i would have known this i would have gotten more then just liability on it... stupid wisconsin! ok i just needed to vent....

Man all those Insurance guys will ripe you off no matter what you do if you would have payed the extra amount they would have said it was your fault . Buddy of mine was driving his brandnew suv after our hung gar class and some drunk funk ran the red light. the drunk bastered clamed the light was red for him and so the insurance company said the wreck was 50/ 50. The cops say that no matter what if the guys drunk he's at fault Period. But hey the insurance guys will belive him because it makes them both have to pay.

Now that's just plain wrong!
Allthou usually in here too you pay part of the expense yourself, but that's usually like 10%...
And it saves you on bonuses (a gwirk in finnish insurance-world.. you get bonuses if you drive without accidents, but when you get money out of insurance your bonuses drop and that makes you insirance more expensive)

Well, considering that in WI you don't need to have insurance for our car and other strange laws , i'm not surprised bout this too.

waaaaat? don't need insurance on your car? I gotta move there... I'm paying $650 a year for the beater i spent $1000 on, and I had to spend a further $800 in inspection and repair before I could licence it. (ontario)

well but if you are involved in accident that you have to pay all the damages without insurance

Well i got a attourney and ive gotten enough money to repair it and such so now im not so pissed... but no i have attourney fees... but i got more money even with having to pay an attourny.

That is a stupid law
