I need some help deciding...

Hi Guys, I'm hoping someone can help... I'm gonna change my car over the next few weeks, I'm torn between two and I'm hoping someone may be able to offer some advice...

At the minute I drive a Mercedes C180, 2lt petrol. I do 25 - 30k miles a year and I'm gonna change. I've been offered deals on a Volvo S60 2lt petrol or an Audi A4 1.9TDi (130BHP)... both are the same price. The Volvo is 2004 with 38K miles and the Audi is 2003 with 50K miles..

Anyone got any advice..

take the Audi

I'd say pick the Volvo, it has less miles so you'd have to worry a bit less about getting it fixed, and personally i'm more into volvo than audi. But i'm just a noob, in cars and at WBW

with diesel you don´t have to look at the miles, a diesel machine run about 350 000 and up! So 12K is nothing

yeah I'd be swinging towards the diesel tbh.. just thinking there may be a few petol heads in here to help..

difficult one, but the S60 is more of an eyecatcher...
on the other hand is the audi more reliable...
but if audi breaks down=>more expensive to fix...
i'd say go for the audi, it's a diesel, those engines should take you at least 500.000km safe around the world...

Audi A4 is very similar car to mine with a very similar engine, i have a SEAT Leon FR TDi (150bhp) love it, I hate volvo's too have the Audi!

Mercedes - high costs for exchange parts
Audi - reliable but shitty interieur
Volvo - not too bad

I'd get a diesel anyways. i am doing nearly the same km as you every year and i am saving tons of money switching to Diesel.

An Audi diesel is what i would recommend

you pay a little extra for diesel on the car tax (about 1.5 times of the normal amount) but i save about 20 cents each litre for gas
