American car owner for ever..until last year and I went Lexus..needless to say I will now only supply my family with Lexus automobiles..My little toy in the garage is still American muscle though by FOrd Mustang

I was excited to hear you like American....up until I read ford mustang.....nothing like a redneck cadillac to get the ol' blood pumping....yeeeeeeeeeeehawwwwwwww....lets all check out the racing stripe on my ol' mustand and go down to the cheeseburger stand and throw spitballs at one another....sorry, i just hate ford...and mustangs even worst...the new ones are horrible pieces of crap....but American...can't beat it. I always thought lexus was a good automobile, but i have 2 friends that bought themselves lexus cars less than 2 years ago and both of them have them in the shops all the time.

I own American cars, I have owned foreign cars in the past and as far as reliability I will own another Toyota in the future. Most American cars are not made in the US. Ford, general motors and chrysler all have plants in other countries. These big corporations are the ones to blame, they farm the work out to little counties that will work cheap. When I buy somthing stamped "made in the USA" I expect it to be heavy duty and represent somthing to be proud of. If you lift the hood of a new chevy truck, you will notice lots of plastic, and not alot of metal, this to me just does not sit well with me. Americans have grown lazy, and as an American I am not afraid to admit it.

Yeah you should have bought a Chevy Avalanche- oh wait, those are made in Maxico. Then you should have bought a Chevy Equinox. Oh wait, that has a Chinese Engine. Maybe you should have bought a Chevy Aveo- except those are actually Daewoos that are made in Korea. You could have at least bought a 4th generation Camaro. Oops, those were made in Canada. I'm just glad you didn't buy a Honda Ridgeline, or a Nissan Titan or something, oh wait, those are made in the USA....
