Golf III VR6 Engine

My friend just wen't to Germany picking up a VOLKSWAGEN GOLF III VR6 engine, and has switched the engine with hes own, man that shit is fast, 250 straight on the highway

Anyone else own a golf?!

I've herad nothing but great things about the VR6! I was considering trading in my current ride for a VR6.

He bought an old GOLF in germany and drove it all way up here in Denmark, just for the engine, the CAR looked crap but the engine was very nice, just needed a enginewash, and some screwing here and there, and now he replaced he's old with the VR6.......damn i that car is fast, and im so much borrowing it

Once upon a time ,i was the owner of a Golf Gti,type 1,with a vr6 engine of a golf 3!
I sure had a lot of laughter with that one.
Especialy at the traffic lights when other cars try to keep up with me...

But unfortunately that car is now in vr6 heaven, at an intersection,a truck ran true red light and hit me and my car while going 60 km/h .
Lucky for me i didn't have much injuries,my car caught fire and burned down.

But after rain,allways comes sunshine,cause two weeks after that accident,i crossed eyes with the new love of my life, a subaru impreza wrx ......!!!

It's so nice that in some countries, people can actually afford to buy cars like that

if I'm not mistaken that's the same engine as in this R32 golf

You're right WIT, normally it is an expensive car,but i bought it in Belgium,where,like in Germany, the cars are cheaper then in Holland.
And,the car had some damage to the bodywork.
But a friend of mine,has got a garage,so together we fixed it.
So that also helped my budget,otherwise i wouldn't be able to buy a car like that.
All it needs is a paintjob ,i'm saving money for that one.
It's going to be a smoke silver paint with a pearl finish...when i get the money for that!

I have had this one for a few years now. Pretty quick. Gets some looks. I will try to get some more recent pics of it since it really doesnt look like this too much anymore.

only assholes drives vw say we here in german

And germany is the only country in the world where volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes cost the same

And we pay helluwalot more for cars here, so you need to have a nice amount of money before you can even be enough asshole to drive a VW

Really Wow In Canada Golf's are cheap they start at 18300 CND dollars, and Around 1.40-1.50 CND = 1 euro so I guess we are getting a good deal over here

VR6 engine rules. I have a 93 Corrado with a VR6 in it. VW's aren't "cheap" here but they aren't expensive either.

I've got a daily drivin civic that'll blow the pants off a R32. Sure it's only a civic, piece of crap compared to the R32's, but it'll still smoke the R32....

My cousin does, fucked up vehicle! In Holland every "boerenlul" (meeans: dickhead) drives a golf 3 VR6....
