American company, styling and assembly by Lotus, 0-60 faster that a Lamborghini, 130+ mph, and no tailpipe! Plug it in at night, and drive up to 250 miles at a stretch. NO GAS!

While it is cool looking its only good for around the town driving. You wouldn't be able to travel anywhere in America. You could only go about 250 miles then have to stop and hope you can recharge somewhere.

Yes it does and until they can get the production costs down for these kinds of vehicles, they will only be selling them to a very limited market.

of course you could always toss a welding machine in the trunk. lol. It is a sweet looking car. Most of the hybrids/elec cars look like a shoe box with wheels.

Hybrid cars have became a huge trend in the middle europe. You can get tax reliefs because saving the environment.

Let's come to Finland. Because the car has 2 engines, in Finland, they give it a double tax! Toyota's and Honda's hybrid cars cost over 30 000 euros here, and are highly over-priced, compared to the other Europe. I could tell you so much shit about our car policy.

Don't ever move to this country!

Because our government try's to fuck us up on any ways. The final price of a new car, includes 42% of tax, germany has 22%. Finland has Europe's highest taxing policy. They just lowered the taxes few years ago, and the amount of new cars raised to new levels. And those fuckers thought it would crash our economy.

The biggest amount of taxes comes from the cars. Incurances, annual car tax, gasolin etc. Having a car in Finland is really expensive. They opened the markets to europe for giving tax reliefs to a car bought from another european country, germany for example. Thousands of finns now buy their cars from germany and our government adds their own tax after registering it. That's funny, because the tax has already been paid in the EU once. Now they take another bite from that car. BUT you can have special models and other cars much cheaper inside the EU than buying here. It's ridiculous, and European union has already asked reports from our government. I will follow these actions really keen.

If you want to go on a trip, just bring an extension cord to put out the window of your hotel!

But obviously, this is a rich person's toy. It's designed to be fun to drive and flashy, and to show that the technology is viable. They are supposedly designing something more practical for future production. And the main thing is to stop using oil, which I would hope most Americans would understand the importance of, in this day and age.

And then those fuckers think why there are so much old cars in Finland.

Yeah, I wonder why. What about lowering the taxes like in other European countries, we would have more new and safer cars around.

Another good point, safety is great but you also have to be able to afford it.

I'm not saying Finland is full of old crappy cars, we have LOTS of new cars and newer cars. But the point is, people need to take huge amounts of loan to buy those. Car brands like Toyota, Nissan, Ford and Volkswagen are quite popular here, because they make basic cars for lower price. They give you all the basic actions and good amount of safety features. If you want to buy expensive and special car, the maintenance will cost you even more. Like they say, don't buy a car which you can't afford to drive.
