My pics were shot at US 60 Raceway in Hardinsburg, KY. My 'home' track is Ohio Valley Dragway in Louisville. I'll post some pics from this coming weekend at OV Monday or so.

Daggett - some of those must be from the IHRA national events there at Kanawha Valley.

Yes, they were. The IHRA Hooters drag racing series.

here are some photos of me a few years back racing in my 1977 Chevy Vega Wagon (the Dragon's Wagon) at US131 Motorsports park in Martin, Michigan. i have been hooked on drag racing from the day my father introduced it to me, great thread guys!!

I must admit I am more of a circle track fan, but we have been to the strip here couple of times. I have 100's of pics in two files. I'll try to go through them and see if there are any more good ones suitable for posting.

nice demon, i love the Vega's (especially the wagons). Dagget, i won the high school drags championship in 2000 and then competed in the regional NHRA high school finals at Indianapolis Raceway Park and placed 2nd. that same year i brought home money on 3 regular race nights, and won a street car national event ($800 prize). i raced intermittently after that for the next 2 years while the track was being rebuilt, then in 2002 or 3 (i forget exactly, but can look it up) i went up into pro or what they call modified class in IHRA which was the tracks new sanctioning body. my first year in modified i placed 8th out of 162 cars for the season. so to answer your question, i don't necessarily "win" a lot, but i consistently place very well. i ahve always seemed to have a nack for aggressive and what some would call crazy driving, but idc because its the biggest adrenaline rush i have ever felt.
