Ummm... you're not Firecrotch
What a letdown. I was all intrigued when I saw that avatar and thought that Firecrotch was dropping in a new transmission.

I know jack shit when it comes to swapping parts in Japanese cars, or their model numbers and compatability. But I hear google knows the answer, or an Acura/Honda webboard. Have fun, and good luck with the Honda.

I'm somewhat of an integra guy. =) But not too sure about civics. What engine is in the 91 civic? Have you tried hondatech.com (might be honda-tech.com), i've heard they can be pretty helpful on that board.
Also,Is yours an auto/manual? why are you looking for an acura transmission? Gearing? I've actually seen a few people bolt civic tranny's (b16) onto their b18's. Maybe you shouldn't necessarily go for an acura tranny until you figure out what your power goals are and what tranny would best suit them. Just going for an acura one may not help you later on.

I'm a DelSol Man, and also into civic's, look under your hood and tell me what your engine-number is... D16Z6, b16a or something like that...

But the only reasons youre dumb is for stealing Firecrotch's avatar. And for not knowing what kind of acura transmission you should put in it.

civic, ignore the flamers. They are pR0n phreaks (as I am), and they are used to seeing your avatar associated with one of our female pR0n phreaks.
Don't take it personally. Just nod, pat them on the head, and listen to what Phenom and MrHolland are telling you. (though Holland himself is a HUGE pR0n phreak as well).
I, on the other hand, am no help to you at all. I sold my '86 Accord back in '88, and it was the last foreign car I ever owned.

uhh ya if you dont know too much about cars, you might not want a put a acura tranny into a civic. they are compatible somewhat, but if you dont know too much about cars it might be a bad place to learn. and ya try honda-tech.com

cut the guy some slack fella's. lol. Everyone's gotta start somewhere. btw, civic find out what engine you have and we can go from there. like holland mentioned, take a look at the block and tell us the engine code, it should be to the left of the center when your facing the engine bay.

Thanks for the compliment Hoody!
Anyway, give me the code and I could tell you which transmission you'll need... Do you have a Amercian civic or European? (you can see it on the code aswell)

i say he is not dumb for stealing firecrotch avatar
but who know exactly bluecivic use this avatar?
his registration date is not new
so it could be that he has it already for a long time
firecrotch just use it a week i think
and not saying that she has stolen, but not knowing from eachother

my civic is a 91 5 speed the engine block numbers are rm9-2 or 10360 or cdp thats the three sets ive found. ive tried every car web site i can find but everyone talks about cars just by the part number,i dont know enough yet to understand thats why im asking you guys but im starting to believe i should just drop another civic trans in it to start off my tuner career instead of trying to modify the whole car so quick, but thanks to you guys trying to lend me some car knowledge

did you notice the codes D15B2 or D15B6? What model civic is it? LX,DX, or SI? You may want to go with another civic tranny. Or figure out your power goals then choose the tranny that best fits. Modifying an entire car is never really a "quick" process, unless you have a bottomless bank account and your own private mechanics. Try to learn more about your car before you do anything, you don't want to find out later on that one part you bought/installed doesn't help the engine package for your goals.
