Im going to out on a limb here and say, from personal preference, that British Sports Cars of the 1950's and 1960's have more sex appeal than those produced during the same time period in the United States. I just love how MGA's and Jaguar's and Austin Healey's look. Nothing in the US can touch these cars during this period.

Well, ill make an exception for the corvette, but only up until around '61.

Yeah, they are hot, but have you ever seen the beauty of an XK140 rollin' down the road, like the one in Cruel Inentions, or an early Austin Healy 100/4 or Triumph TR3, or MGA 1500? These types of cars just ooze class and sohipistication.

my father (when we were rich [welcome to latinamerica]) used to have a stupid triumph spitfire
not a classical one im guessing mid 70 or early 80 but the stupid car was broke most of the time so we could hardly use it
anyway i was too young to drive but it was fun to ride it (the 2 or 3 times it actually worked)

Spitfires have a lot of problems, especially with the electrical system, as do most classic british cars. Its the faulty Lucas electronics. My father has a 1972 MGB in his garage in about 200 pieces. I dont know if he will ever get it on the road again. He also has a 1957 MGA Roadster. He spent 3 years rebuilding it. Its beautiful and really fun to drive.
