Check out my clk 430

2002 mercedes benz clk 430..havent done much to it yet..

-tinted the rear and side windows 13%
-windsheild 30%
-flowmaster exhaust, magnaflow tips
-interior neons
-underbody neons
-tinted tail lights
-air fuel controller

dyno'd it at 306 hp..stock 280.

going to put 20" giovannas on it and im still planning to drop the car,and put many performance parts under the hood. considering that im going to have 20" rims on it, i wont be using all the power so i wont mess up my rims, but still good to know its available if in need.also going to change factory navigation to a aftermarket, and throw a couple tvs into it.oh,and ofcourse put a new stereo system into the trunk.i just also orderd my lamborghini hinges for it, the shop wants 600$ to install each door..its pricey but im going to go threw with it..what do you guy think?any suggestions?

took all the class away from the Benz with the neon. There is only one Mercedes sold in america that is ok to defile and thats the mercedes c230 sports coupe. If it was my car I would have put the money into new rims and tires. and very few more subtle mods. You are at the point of putting stickers on your car imo.
also anything over 18" maybe 19" with the right tire will be acceptable, but 20" would be just as equally gross as the neon.

Pretty sweet, like the others mentioned already im not really liking the neon too much..makes it look kinda cheesy. It's a pretty slick lookin car man...I hope you post pics when you're all done.

By all means do the mods you want. you just asked for opinions. The CLK 430 is actually one of my most favorite cars.

yea, i appreciate the opinions..my car is still in the shop, i recentley rear ended the shit out of a person..he had a cougar,and i took all the damage..needed a new hood, new grille, new bumper..but im going to try to look at it positveley by putting aftermarket parts on

I would say lose the under-body neons at least, interior ones can look okay if you do it right. The car looks clean but I would definitely go with something a little lower profile than 20s, 17s or 18s could look way clean and make it more practical. A clean set of subs and maybe air bag it.

if the car is allready that black, i would have chosen some black rims...
maybe even blacklight neon

ok.. here is the brutal truth.. the neons look hookey.... the car is already old, so I personally wouldn't put too much $$$ into it, in that you will never get someone to pay for all the "add-ons" that you are coughing up $$$moola for... fix the damage, clean it up and save the rest of the $$$ for when you buy your next ride....

it is your car, so do what you want, but to jack-up an old car seems foolish, IMHO of course

an idea>save the fix it up money and invest in some further driving school
