Bugatti Veyron tooks 16.7s to 0-300km/h
Japanese tuned Skyline took 13,7s to 0-300km/h.

I'm still waiting for some great german factory to produce more respectable car than Veyron. With a smaller amount of "help devices" on the engine of course.

How much wheel spin did each vehicle have?

Naturally aspirated 1001 hp?? It would need to be a Big Big engine.

The car already has 8 liter engine. The 1000bhp is very possible. With 4 fucking turbos, pathetic.

I wasn't talking about the veyron's engine... I was talking about this"german engineered" engine you wish they'd make.

I'm sure they could develop 1200bhp engine with "only" 2 turbochargers and less of liters. BMW M5 has 5 liter engine and 507bhp. If we raise those liters a bit and add 2 turbos, voila! The magical 100bhp / litre.

I'm not talking about a naturally aspirated engine. I'm saying, it's pathetic to put 4 turbos in a 8 liter engine and develop "only" 1001bhp.

They did dial it back to 1001 bhp if they pushed it they can absolutely get more hp.It's not that they can't or are too stupid too.

I would think that it could easily be designed to produce more than 1001 but it may be a tolerance issue on the drivetrain, etc.

Then why 4 turbos?

Exactly... the power to weight ratio is sick already...

I'm not an engineer. But I would think so thay don't have to work as hard.

Ouch. Sounds like it yes. The last pieces of respect gone with the wind.

I still think it's a dull engine.

Are they using some fucking hong kong turbos? Good turbos are being made for handle big pressure and big horsepowers. And I'm sure the other pieces from that engine will brake apart before the turbos.

You're such a witty guy.

Well, that was my point. Not the part about the witty guy, but the part about the rest of the car, drivetrain, etc. The car has to be built as a whole to handle tolerance.

4 smaller turbos will spool up faster than a single or even dual setup, enabling the power to come on faster and extending the torque curve lower.

Also, you can't really compare a luxury sport exotic to a dedicated drag racing Skyline. The 1500 HP Skyline has been completely stripped out and was "rebuilt" from the ground up as a track only machine. It is not the kind of car one would want to drive around town, nor is it production.

I know a 900bhp Supra which is made for driving around the town. There are so many angles of views, and I've declared mine.

The brand Bugatti is french, but Volkswagen has built the car, because it owns the bugatti nowadays. The W16 is a technology made by VW, same as W12 etc.

Volkswagen; The Renault of german cars. Gets you trouble.

Again, a Supra TT was about a 300 HP production car. I don't know about the 900 HP Supra's on your side of the ocean, but the ones over here don't meet new car noise and emissions standards, wouldn't be safe at 200+ MPH, and certainly don't make that power without race gas. On pump gas a 900 HP Supra only makes ~600 HP. That's not to say that I wouldn't really enjoy a 900 HP Supra.

If one were to tune a Veyron for +28 PSI, it probably would make 1500 HP. However, without the fancy gas engines are typically limited less than 17 lbs of boost.
