I've been dreaming of an E39 BMW 530D for a while. It delivers quite nice performance for a diesel powered car, and it's great to drive. My guestion is, does anyone here drive one? Any experiences? I'm seriously planning on buying one--an used one, obviously, as I'm sepeaking of E39. They are very common as taxis here, so they're available for pretty low prices (around 25000€ = $30000, I know, that isn't cheap anywhere else but in Finland).
Need to save a little money first, though. Realistic schedule would appear to be a year or so. So I need to hear people praising their 530D's to keep up the motivation...
