yep nothing happnes. i even put a blast of compressed air into it. kind afigured it wouldnt work on my car because its hard enough to turn the damn key to unlock it

It is possible, we were taught in college (Mechanics course) that all fords (uk) and many other makes of car could be opened like that, but using half a tennis ball.
And i tried it, and it works, but only with central locking cars.
