There was a German film years ago called "Das Ding" (sp?) or "the thing" that this looks to be based on. I think it was ~20 minutes or more of things just like this. I don't recall whether it was a one-shot deal though.

Powerflux that advert was all done for real My ex Girlfriend works for Honda UKs Marketing department and she helped make it. It didn't all happen at the same time, its filmed one action at a time and put together to make the sequence but its all done for real if u really need the proof your local honda dealer should be able to get a dvd of it and the making of it sent out to you & u can even buy them on eBay I think
