I bought an '09 G6 with the Cash-for-Clunkers deal. Not impressed with the fuel mileage(21-23 mpg this time of year),and it needs a five/six-speed automatic(huge gap from third to fourth gear).
Seats are only average and interior trim is cheap-ish, but gotta love the handling and steering. At the time of purchase Pontiac was throwing huge rebates/discounts at me, while Honda and Toyota were playing hard-to-get. The difference was several thousand dollars. Pontiac later threw in a year of free service visits(oil change, tire rotation, inspections).
