amp problems

i have the jbl gto 1ooo wats amp in my car and it was sound till i alterd the base dials now the power keeps going on and off and i dont no why if anybody can help please reply or email me

my memphis 400d keeps doing the same shit. someone told me its a power problem and i need a bigger battery. does it do that during high bass periods?

What gauge is power wire? Make sure you ground wire is well grounded to the frame of the vehicle (tighten and sand contact surfaces). Also you usually don't need a bigger battery but a higher capacity alternator.
