Alright, when i get out of bootcamp, I'm gonna need another car. the one i was restoring now has an electrical problem dealing with the starter electrical system. I was restoring my dad's Chrysler LHS with a Chrysler New Yorker... ended up gutting the New Yorker and fixing that with the LHS shit. I want a good solid car, with alright gas milage [because I'm gonna buy me a 'Cuda!! (when i find one...) :P] so yea. I'm looking for something either Toyota or GMC (Chevy) made. I previously owned a 1989 Voltswagan Cabrolet and that was a fun car, except for the fact I put a new Upper Radiator hose on every week. So I was seeking help from you "Expirenced" guys to see what would craze my intrest. Feel free to post pics, because I don't want it to look retarded. Tuners are most likly outta the question. Except the Toyota Supra..

well. i like my '91 jeep cherokee. 4.0 fuel injected motor is plenty quick enough & will last 250,000 miles....4WD & good clearance goes just about anywhere. i sunk it in a running wash (80% mud) last summer up to the top of the tail lites...so deep i almost lost it before my buddy arrived & yanked it out....and all that went bad was the starter because i started the engine when it was almost completely under water.....tough little car & gets 18-19 mpg.

yeah....but a car like that would be pretty cold in your wisconsin winters.

one of my friends who lives in chicago keeps one of them here at his winter getaway home. he loves it.

Get an old Chevy Bronco, I think its a Bronco 2. Its the BIG body they came out with first...you can use it both as a truck and SUV. The back roof comes off. You could definitly put a life and rims on it!

if you're looking for good gas mileage, check out the european dieselmarket: example audi, volkswagen, even fiat...
if it's ok to be a used car: a citroën xm2.1td, mine only needs a fill up every 1000miles!

A chevy bronco? wtf....the bronco II was the baby bronco. Somthing small that can handle and take the abuse....Toyota MR2, Nissan 240sx, ANY honda. I would stay away from eclipse/talon....you'll be fixing them often if you are really beating on them unless of course you can turn wrenches on cars. Volkswagon golf/rabbit/GTI. Try www.craigslist.org and type in your price range and see what pops up. One of the best used car sites i have worked with....plus there is a lot of other stuff on there too.

You want gas mileage? Get the old crx 1500 HF 1.5 liter. I own one myself and i get upwards of 50 mpg WITHOUT 5th gear. My tach is reading 3 grand at 60 but I'm still getting almost 50. The person I got it from said they were getting 50 mpg running the ac all the time. And it's all together a fun car to drive. Sticks to the road like fucking fly paper
