Jag officially previewed the 2007 XKR yesterday at the British Motor Show.

These are preview and leaked pics. Hopefully someone will grab some from the B.M.S. in a day or two.

According to Jaguar's release:

*****

The engine develops a maximum of 420 hp and impressive 413 lb-ft of torque, accelerating the XKR from zero to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds and providing the car with electronically limited 155 mph. A driver will have to tackle this power with the help of XKR's uprated springs and dampers, coupled with a recalibrated Jaguar's Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS) system, Inside Line reports.

In the U.K., the open-top will cost £67,495.

That car looks... cute. Or should I say, too nice. Not aggressive like some other models. Not bad.

Can you tell me 413 lb-ft in Nm? I don't understand your yankee units.

Okay, here you go Ascaris ...

1.00 lb-ft = 0.138 kg-m = 1.35 N-m

So,

413 lb-ft = 557 N-m Right ?

Well, it should look a lot like one since the body is a modified Aston. Price tag is different.
