To open or not to open

I don't know what to do. I got a 20th anniversary Optimus Prime for my birthday from my girl. Its the last one in the city and she was told they wouldn't be getting anymore in. I have around 200 transformers in my collection and i have opened all the new one (i admit i like to change them). And it cost 100 canadian for you USA guys that .35

Depends, if you collect just to have them for what they will be worth one day, don't open. If you collect for the enjoyment of it, open away. Course I'd be pissed if they were worth a couple grand unopened in another 10 years

I see it the same way. I'm not a full blown collector. I don't sit there and scream if its not in the package. But still I think it may be worth a few bucks in about 10 years. But I'm sitting here looking at the thing and its one of the cools transformer i've ever seen.

tuff spot,i would lean towards leaving alone and maybe putting it somwhere like the puter room,so you can enjoy it and hope its worth what ya thought in 10 yrs,been there done that with some diecast

lol if i had a digital cam i would post a pic of my lot. I hate to say it but i do transform them from time to time just to change up my display.

The best part about everyone on WBW is that we can all have this conversation about "to open or not to open" and be so passioniate about it when the box clearly reads, Ages five and up. lol. I have fraggle rock posters that are still rolled up so I know how you must feel bro. I voted no. Save that one and spend some time looking for another and transform the poo out of it.

lol, imagine if you transformed it and it did poo and it was all like "Sorry but you shouldn't transform me untill 30 minutes after I eat."
