It must be you then Zarq. When I enabled pop-ups, Safari had no problem with em. Hell I was running Photoshop CS, Final Cut Pro 4, iTunes, iChat, and Proteus and it didn't even slow down.

It was the comp. G4 dual 450 mhz running MSWord, MSExcel, MSEntourage, MS Powerpoint, Photoshop 7, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro, Safari, Hogwasher and OSX Jaguar. Popups were not enabled, and the app crashed within seconds.

Funny, on my PC Opera didn't even blink but blocked them all properly.

Yeah, the M$oft programs use up a lot of system resources. But InDesign is by far the worst hog out of all of those apps.

It gave you 72 popups Mickey? My google toolbar popup blocker registered 18000 popups blocked by the time I got the task manager to crash the browser... The counter was screaming...

Have you moved to InDesign CS, Zarq? They've done a lot of optimzing, and its quite a bit faster.
