This ascii-mation has not been made by hand. There are no hand made paterns in it...
I used to make ascii's aswell and ansi's. But there are programs written that you can take a movie and convert it into ascii.. this is what this ascii is looking for (caracter useage is the same as with a converter) but still it is very nice to watch an ascimation like thisone...
I will try to dig up some old ansimations and post them online (with a player for them aswell)...
