and probably died. dumbass did it on purpose and will live to reproduce
a long line of dumbasses.

It looks as though he's working after hours so he can't expect her to not to do her job simply because he's running behind or putting in some extra work; however, he could have asked if she could work in another room and come back in an (insert time) when he'd left. If he'd done that though, we'd be down one helluva a good laugh.
