Can the yellow star be a disabled? It very nice and shiny but I would rather do without it, any ideas?

what is the yellow star for?

sponsor membership

the yellow star signifies that you are a sponsor member. the only way to get rid of it is to wait for your membership to expire, and become a "regular" member.

Why would you want to get rid of the star that shows you support the site?

If he really wants it away I should make a option in profile that you can turn it off.
