Why?

Why are my submitted pictures almost always rejected? I'd say 9 times out of 10 it happens. I've seen the same picture uploaded by different people. Is there some rules I'm missing? I usually don't bother even trying to submit something unless I think it's something new and/or decent. It's getting really annoying and I'm probably not going to bother doing it anymore. Do you just arbitrarily accept pictures? I'm just wondering. And also none of them are copyrighted. I almost always get them from photobuckets I.E. amature. From reading the "do not submit" it says models or copyrighted. Do you just count really hot chicks as models? And if that's the case I have pictures of models that have been accepted, they just aren't "model pictures" they are taken at a bar or beach or w/e. Again, it's just really annoying to take the time to upload them and always have them rejected...

No step back a bit dont get pissed! I have submitted a bunch and have had a bunch rejected! There are alot of people uploading the same pics just a little bit ahead of you. The mods also have to just base it on if it looks familiar! And if the pic does then it wont be uploaded! I try to upload pics almost constantly and the majority never make it! Thats the way it goes I dont think its personal.

I have had many many pics rejected. WBW has the program that can distinguish to a pretty accurate, extent, pics that have previously been rejected, and or submitted.

It was easy years ago to get a pic uploaded and approved. There were not that many of us.

Your question about uploading and being rejected. It happens,someone may have submitted the same pic a few days earlier, or even a few days later. The pic mods have to look at so many pics. And it is totally random, some days you are lucky and some you are not.

Sometimes you will see your uploaded pics drop, the reason for this is that it has been discovered that it is a duplicate pic. So the rule here is to leave the pic with the earlier time stamp to remain.

I understand what you all or saying. I just wanted an explanation. I figured there would be some kind of duplicate checking program that checked file names. It just seemed to me personally I was being rejected an abnormal amount of times. Perhaps I was wrong. Thanks for your reply and explanation. Again, I'm really not pissed off lol I would be using very fowl language

Also, just a quick question. Assuming the duplicate checker, checks file names.. what about stuff like IMG9203 or w/e. I would think if it does throw those out you'd be tossing a lot of images that are def. not duplicates. Perhaps that's my problem.

Also like you said Rob, it was much easier years ago and I've been on here a long time now. I guess I was used to things going up fast and easy.

I guess you didn't read my post. I guess you don't read the stickies.

You can earn credits by reporting duplicate, watermarked or pro pics. Easy process and helps WBW keep out of trouble with copyrighted pics.

This is a great community, learn the rules, ask questions and tell me where the car section is!

I just recently became a pic mod and I felt the same way as you before I got to see what the pic queue looks like from the other side. We have a huge picture database and so a lot of pics are in there, also we have a lot of uploading members who may circulate the same sites as you and upload the same pics you are just slightly before you as others have said. Thanks for understanding though, we do our best.

P.S The pic situation is a nightmare really. You have close to 1,000,000 pics already uploaded so we get reposts all the time. We have many people using the same sources, so reups are rampant. We have many newer members who upload the same popular girls from 6 months ago, 12 months ago. We have many people uploading stamped pics, professional models, celebrities. Uploads that are blurry, out of focus, butt ugly (perspectives ofcourse), People uploading cars, bikes, houses, kids, sunsets, you name it and someone uploads it.

We try are best, but the system is far from perfect.

If 1 more person uploads amber stratt i'm going to cry

It doesn't check file names. Like you said, if that were the case there would be a ton of stuff rejected that shouldn't be.

By my little experience here on WBW I can only agree with mods: here is a huge database and is difficoult to manage it. I only upload personal pics of my GF, in very high resolution, and I never upload pics on another site (so is not possible they are reposts), but a lot of them are rejected. Once i tryed to upload one of my pic and i get a message like this: pictures already in database. Absolutely impossible but I understand it can happends when U have to manage this quantity of pics every day.

@ swiss - that didnt take long...

@ original poster - like many have said....there are people that are uploading constantly, theyll have their queue at max every single month. Theyre the people that search the net tirelessly and find alot of the shit before anyone else. Then everyone finds them, but by then theyre in the galleries and get all rejected.

regarding the CamGirl pics....there are so many of these girls showing up on the net daily we dont all know off them, so if you recognise them, let us know by reporting it....or even making a comment about it, and then us comment mods will take care of it when doing comments, which we do daily.

If the pics are pics youve taken yourself, make that comment in the box when you upload them, with new digicams sometimes the pics can LOOK pro...

Hey mate,

Next time you upload upload them and include a statement saying that they're of your GF. And that should help get them accepted.
