What to do?

Hmm, recently i find a lot of people attaching a lot of professional copyrighted pictures on a thread!

What to do?
Shall we delete those threads?
Shall we lock those threads?
Shall we delete and warn the users of those kind of threads?

It is not the meaning that if you can't upload pros in the moderate queue that you spam the board with attached professional (remote linking is a different story!)

External linking isn't a problem! But attaching and storing it on our server IS a big PROBLEM! What todo??

I have noticed that too. Alot of pics posted with websites on them. I say lock them if they get out of hand and maybe a PM to the user doing it.

maybe that would be a good idea since not everyone can post "their" collection so they have to link a pro pics which is boring

Any links with spam..delete the link
copyrighted pics..delete the thread

Then give a warning to that user if they keep on posting those type pics.

Delete all copyrighted pics from the forum.but allow people to upload professional models in the forum without any marks on it.
That way the people can see pro models on the site!

yupz send the a warnig too.If the pic queue is full with 100's of pro pics and marked pics i sent that user a friendly message not to upload that kind of pics again.

i think you have to stay by you're pollicy not to allow any marked pics.

i can agree that we have NO copyrighted pics anywhere... but i just uploaded some fake pics in a previous thread...those pics are hardly "copyrighted" in the sense that they are meant to be distributed pretty freely.. so how do we do with those? i personally wouldnt care as long as i know whats up..

It's not a problem when you external link those pictures, problem is it's on our server.. We try to keep the same policy on our server as the babe section! We try to stay between the lines.. (External linking should be a problem) But attaching is a differt story!

My humble opinion is to delete the thread and 'inform' the user about the policy on copyrighted pics in WBW via presonalmsg.

And you shuold put in the coming FAQ or manual that the 'non-marked pictures only' policy applies also in the forum, i think some people just plain don't understand it.

Always nasty these kind of issues, I heared from another mod that one of those persons i messeged about this issue was very mad at me.. It wasn't personal just to keep the site running smoothly.. and yes we do need a good policy! A Real good one!

another thing to add to the todo-list
pro pics have never been allowed in the babes-section. I personally think we should keep the same rules to the forum. as long as those pics are on our server, I can imagine someone complaining about it if they have the rights to them.
locking such threads would not help as the pics would remain on the forum.
deleting the pro pics if there are only a few of them, otherwise deleting the thread seems to me to be the only option...

if that upsets anyone than that's their loss. if WBW can get in trouble because some members wish to post pro pics then it would be all of our loss. the fact that ppl get mad or angry or upset because we've deleted their thread with a good reason in mind, is a shame, but not something I will sleep less over. you see, IF we delete a thread, it's for a good reason. we don't do such things for fun...

I agree that links to external pages with pro pics on them are fine, but yeah when they are attached and thus hosted on this site, it is a liability to WBW.

Its hard to find a Celeb babe that doesnt have a logo mark on it.
Just a question (as I've done it myself) Like if i find a good Link with pro pics. and create a new topic, Is it ok if i insert a image from that site (logo marked) ?

Coz as i see it were giving that Site free commercial, and they shoulndt yagg bout that, or am i way off?

Creating a whole topic with images of famous babes and logomarked pics isnt right as i see it. and yes delete thread and pvt msg with a nice reply not to post that stuff again.

Dragon: It really anoys me if an users creates a topic with only babe attachments for about 3 or more mulitpages..

But i love the topic random pic! Because nobody cries about that images that those are copyrighted!
