Ok, im feeling generous. Here you go:

The pics and vids are randomly moderated. That means your pics or vids could come up at any time, or not come up - obviously.

There are a lot more pic mods than you think working behind the scenes. For ever one pic that gets accepted, 100 get deleted. (something like that, anyway) It takes up a lot of time. Thousands of pics are uploaded daily (dont quote me on that number) but it is a ton. They wade through the queue fairly quickly given that its volunteer work - just so that you can see new pictures on a daily basis.

Videos are the same way. You now know that each one has to be re-encoded and whatnot. Also, I dont think senja and diz are comfortable letting others mod the vids yet. It will get quicker soon, im sure. Its a new feature. Growing pains, I think.

I just get tired of people saying two things:

"Where are my credits? Movie uploading takes forever"

and

"Why does it take so long for my pics and vids to get through the queue?"

You wont find any other site on the internet that gives you so much for so little (as far as porn is concerned). I just get tired of the griping, you know?

your 3 pictures are still in the queue. there's indeed over 6.900 pics in the queue atm (had it down to about 6000 yesterday but somebody decided to upload again ).
EvilJack already gave a good explanation. and it's true, we do get over 1.000 new pics to process each day. sometimes more, sometimes less. nevertheless, each and every pic needs to be qualified as pro or non-pro and then needs to be added to the correct "topic" if you will. this takes time but an experienced picmod (like myself for instance) can handle up to 1000 pics an hour...
