Thumbs you see on the front page are the last comments so they are in fact larger than the last comments of the current version. There is also a top of the babe feature on the front page witch display a rather large thumb witch change in the same place but we can't see it now because there haven't been uploads recently.
There is no working sponsorship at the moment in the beta (Diz can artificially give you a status to tests things though). But when the new version is out, everything will be transferred.
