It's alright Senja, I'm American and still think it's wrong that the rest of the world is expected to communicate in English. I respect anyone who learns a language other than their native one.

if the forum were not in english there would be very few members from the usa. our education system is in a shambles because everything must politically correct. our teachers are the poorest educated college graduates in the country. i salute you from other countries that adapt to english to accomodate us. thank you.

I think to difficult in English we write here everything with ---sch-- like Scheveningen, 's Hertogenbosch, 's Gravenhagen But i like to learn so no problem.

When I started with Diz on this site it was 3 -5 years ago that i wrote in English so littlebit rusty i believe but everybody can understand what i mean. (I hope)

This language thing is a bit different here in europe (especially in the northern parts), many countries have much trade with the US and UK, both english countries.
You just HAVE TO be able to speak english and preferrably atleast one language with that and your native. Otherwise no-one will ever hire you for a job anywhere!

And as for Finland, this is a bi-lingual country with two native languages you _have to_ master, finnish and swedish. And on top of that is english and maby even a bit of german or french or russian or... and then you are strong in languages...
