WBW Copyright Question

I don't understand why it is ok to show copyright photos, but not copyright movies, someone knowledgable please explain. Thanks.

Well most copyrighted videos are stolen, where as many copyrighted images are promotional images that are given out to attract customers. As to the fact that we do not have the resources or man power to actually review each hotlinked image that resides on other people's servers, it would be virtually impossible for us to filter out stolen from promotional images.

Also remember that WBW does not actually host any of those copyrighted images that are retained in the threads. We leave it up to the outside provider's descretion if they wish to display. Most porn producers find it as a great boon as free advertising so we rarely have any issues with them outside of a select few that are quite questionable.

I understand. They are ok because although they are viewable on this site, they are not actually on this site. Interesting, and thanks.

most copywritten videos ARE promos from websites...

Movies are not allowed because they involve a certain elevated level of profit protection when compared to pictures. Promo clips arent movies. Movies are movies. And we dont allow promo clips either, because we would be promoting their material at our own risk.

and burn- how are 20 minute videos from nubiles, 2 hour videos from "euro beach" and 7 minute oral sex vids from assorted teen sites promos? Most things posted here arent promos, mainly because promos are freely circulated by the countless tgp sites. but whatever.

You are not viewing any of these pictures "on this site" and that is the point. You may be on WBW but the content you see may or may not be on this web server.

I'm reporting it right now...No I did not on the link in the movies gallery...it is more fun to bring it to light here, sort of like a WBW whistle blower. I think it is best to keep this sort of buisness public, if anything but to force change/and or document it.

This is a better way of reporting. It allows the non-payers to see that we in the elite world of sponsorship also have rules...and that it is not just a big orgy beyond the gates. Plus it seems to piss you guys off, which also makes it good.
