Seeing more pics lately that are very small. With the huge numbers being uploaded and long queue times, seems to me that you could eliminate those easily. For example, isn't 253 x 450 too small? Not a big issue to me, just thought you could weed out some pics a little quicker. Maybe even increase the minimum requirement.

I might as well get in on this too. Got some pics of cars that have been waiting, not a month or anything like that, but I just wonder because my first pics were approved in 2 days. Also speaking of cars, am I the only one who can't see the "recent cars" part of the front page anymore?

The minimum pic size has already been increased to 375x500 (or 500x375) as stated in the rules. Of course, the old pics that are too small according to this new rule will stay on the galleries. But if you see a recent pic below that size, you can report it as it shouldn't have been accepted in the first place.

I guess we don't see any recent car on the front page because there was no car accepted lately.
The reason being our main car mod is away at the moment (which is also the reason why your car queue might still not be moderated).
He should be back shortly and the car section will run normally afterwards

How the hell do you view all these pictures without suffering square eyes or sight overload? Are they given a quick glance to check there are no children or unsuitable subject matter within? How can you tell if a pic is professional etc? Even a most cursory glance takes time.
I must say I admire your dedication which while sometimes can be quite pleasant I assume there are times when it is not.

How come the recent babe section is nothing but pictures of chicks in bikinis ? Did some guy upload 2500 pictures from his local beach and his contribution is drowning everyone else out?

It can indeed be a pain to review some queue. The one I'm talking above is a good example.

I would suggest the uploads would follow a 'Tetris' like pattern. Each of us is building a stock of blocks on a queue and the uploads are made from one block at the time in order for each of us. I think it will be fair from small uploaders like me that do not get discouraged over time by having to wait two weeks for 5 photos to be uploaded.
look at the beautiful chart I made yes it took me time, guys.

In this example, the upload starts with Miss Scarlett: 50 uploads approved, then Colonel Mustard: 50, Mrs. White: 30, Reverend Green: 50, Mrs. Peacock: 50, Professor Plum: 8.
..and the round starts again, Miss Scarlett: 50 uploads approved, then Colonel Mustard: 50, Mrs. White: 0, Reverend Green: 50, Mrs. Peacock: 50, Professor Plum: 50.

I had suggested a similar method a few years back but it never took traction. Right now I would just be happy with an upload cap to stop a certain handful of assholes who like to reupload three thousand, already rejected, images at a time.

That is a good idea.
When I left one night queue was a little over 19k 5 hours later when I returned it was over 22k.
We'll never catch up like that.

In a sense, we don't really want to catch up too much because that would mean no more content at one point
But at the moment, we could really use a system to limit massive uploads and help new uploaders. I hope Diz will come up with a solution quick enough.

Could just limit it to x10 the level you are?

So currently I could only have a maximum of 340 in the queue at any one time. Yes people with lower levels would have to upload a lot less but over time they would build this up through regular contributions (not just mass uploading photos). Plus if someone is restricted to having 10 photos in the queue when they first join, they may just choose the best 10 rather than uploading 1000 average photos along with them.

Plus it was mentioned before about perhaps rating each person's quality of uploads (professional, underage etc) and then lowering their allowance if they continually attempt to upload crap.

Level x10 would work for me I'm in low level but I upload a very small amount of photos. Anything that will make the babe queue waiting shorter is good. I think we all agree it's because of massive uploaders.

I agree w underage cause it's easy to see maybe but it will be hard I think for the mods and time spending to have to judge of professional pics or not / if a photo has been retouched etc. One question I personally need to know: if a model do a selfie for her instagram or whatever which is not paid or retouched, is it a professional pic you can't upload? also i m uploading pics of my wife here i made in our home and i m not a photographer but she does modeling professionally.

Kind of a pointless response from me here as I don't know the official rules on this one, but I THINK they're not allowed as I've seen similar photos that are uploaded one minute and a day or so later they have been removed. I think if someone can name the model and reports it, they are deleted. Hopefully a mod can be more exact though...

I upload photos all the time, I absolutely love the new method where I can drag and drop.

Coming from a non-administrator, I don't know why all the users are so upset about the wait time for uploaded photos. Are you all really in that much of a rush to see your own photos again ? I know it can be exciting to see others comment or rate your photos, but to give the admins so much flak about the time is really silly.

Go to McDonald's wait 30 seconds for your happy meal and enjoy the instant gratification. When you come to WBW just sit back, relax, and enjoy whats happening.

I don't upload everything at once , there are now 300 pictures in my waitingqueue (not all posted the same day) and 900 waiting on my HD...
Some will be rejected others will be approved.
I'll just wait my time and maybe if got to wait longer because I'm a picturemod too and I'm not allowed to accept my own uploads...

It's not always super obvious when a girl is underage or not because a lot of them can be borderline and thus hard to judge. We do have to judge if a pic is pro or not though.

Technically, it's an amateur picture of a professional model. But it's still a professional model on the picture so it's not allowed. If you check the rules that are now clearer than before, you'll see that the example for porn-stars includes a selfshot.
