Wacky news stories?

Those crazy news stories are what brought me to this site in the first place all those years ago (until I found about the naked women, of course). They used to be updated so regularly and provide me with plenty of stories to share with other less informed but, now, it's once a month, twice if we're lucky (not at all for June). So I'm just wondering what it might take to revive that trend, it's a great idea and a perfect concept for a site like this. Just curious...
